KOKO'S PRESCHOOL ACADEMY PROGRAM STATEMENT
Koko's Preschool Academy provides classes for students ages 2.5-6. Our curriculum follows a theme-based, Montessori philosophy. A Montessori classroom is a multi-age setting in which children learn from each other and because of each other. We create a rich, orderly classroom environment and guide each child through observations of the child's interest and period of readiness. Our pledge is to respect each other, ourselves, and the environment.
We have an awesome parent portal used to keep all of you informed each week. This will allow you to be able to see the progress and skills your child is gaining each week! It will also help bridge the communication between school and home.
PROGRAMS OFFERED
Over time, we’ve designed and adapted programs to meet the high standards of today’s world of education. By providing a supportive environment, we make sure each child receives exactly what they need.
PRIMARY 1
The preschool class is best suited for children ages 2-4.5. This class follows Dr. Maria Montessori's practices. Children learn through self-directed, hands-on, collaborative play. As our most popular option, our preschool class tends to fill up fast - so if you’re interested, get in touch today to fill out an application and start the process of getting your child enrolled. PRIMARY 2
(AGES 4-6)
Our Primary 2 class is rich with opportunity. We have structured centers intertwined with independent time. Children must be 4 by September 1st to enroll. This class has the option to enroll in all 4 days. Each of our programs will provide the support and tools necessary for optimal growth.
